Last night my mom came over for our monthly movie night and I typically make a dessert to go with it. Currently we are going through the Harry Potter series (my mom has never seen it before and it’s like my FAVORITE!) and I typically make Harry Potter inspired food. Last night, I didn’t however because we decided to order pizza. So I made s’more bars and I just had to share the recipe with you all because it is delicious! Also since you can’t really go outside and roast marshmallows in the winter time, it’s a perfect solution to keeping the feeling of summer alive.
So what you need is: a roll of chocolate chip cookie dough (or sugar cookie dough and then buy a make of morsels), mini marshmallows, chocolate syrup and caramel syrup. That’s seems pretty simple right? Well, it gets even simpler.
What you need to do: flatted your cookie dough onto a small cookie sheet and bake at the temperature and for the length that is written on the bag (typically 350 degrees for 10 minutes). Remove from oven. Place as many mini marshmallows on as you desire (and if you bought the sugar cookie dough, this is where you add your chocolate chips) and then drizzle with both the caramel and chocolate syrup. Place back in oven until marshmallows (and chocolate chips) are melted to your desire. Remove from oven and enjoy!
I told you it was simple and it’s delicious! So I hope you brave this dessert the next time you’re trying to figure out what to bake because trust me, you’re gonna love it! Have a wonderful Thursday and I will talk to you tomorrow!
