Praise Him in the Hallway

Praise Him in the Hallway

Everyone has heard the phrase “When God closes one door, He opens another.” But when does He open another? We can’t make God do anything and He has a plan. It’s not on our time, but on His. So what should we do in the meantime? What do we do while we wait for God to show us His plan? I’ll tell you one thing, it’s definitely not to sit and complain that life never works out for you or to think God doesn’t care. How about take a positive note but Praising Him in the Hallway.

You may be wondering what Praise Him in the Hallway means? Well, let me break it down for you. Simply, thank Him for all the He has done and given you. You don’t have to have the “luxuries” you do, it’s all a gift from Him. Your husband, your children, your job, your husband’s job, everything is a gift from God. Maybe your husband got laid off and you every new job opportunity gets slammed closed and you get frustrated God. You think God must not care about us because if He did, my husband would have a job. Maybe all those job opportunities wouldn’t be a good fit for your family.

God doesn’t do anything out of cruelty but out of love. It may not always seem like love when you’re struggling and that’s when you need to turn to Him. Pray to Him, thank Him and Praise Him for everything that He has done for you, everything He is doing for you and everything He is preparing for you. So when God closes a door and you’re waiting for Him to open another, praise Him in the hallway.
