What I’m Thankful for…about my son | Thanksgiving

This month we celebrate a very important holiday, Thanksgiving. I say important because it really makes us look at life with a thankful heart. To take the time to find those things that make life worthwhile. So for the next couple days I’m going to share specific traits of why I’m thankful for some of the people in my life. To start it off, I’m going to share what I’m thankful for about my son.

1. He is kindhearted.

2. He is gentle.

3. He is loving.

4. He is quiet. (I’m going to explain this one. I’m not thankful that he isn’t loud, even though at times boys can be                                  very loud. I’m thankful for his quietness because in those moments, I see how much he develops and                              actually observes. He isn’t so much of a doer, he is a thinker. )

5. His love of learning.

6. His love for books.

7. His laugh.

8. His smile.

9. The way he expresses his love for people. (Even at such a young age, he is already learning how to show love)

10. His playful spirit.

11. His quirky personality.

12. His independence.

13. His hugs & kisses.

14. He is sweet.

15. His vocabulary & pronunciation of words.

I challenge you to find the reasons why you are thankful for the people in your life. Tomorrow, I’m going to share those reasons about the other man in my life.
