A Family in Need

My mom works with a young couple who has such a heartbreaking story that I thought I would share with all of you. But first, I have a question for you. Has there ever been something in your life that you wanted so badly and no matter what you tried to do, you just weren’t able to have it? I’m not talking about a new car or any worldly possession, I’m talking about something life changing. What this couple wants is to be a mom and dad. Something that so many of take for granted because “having a baby” comes so naturally for us. But what if you weren’t able to have a baby and there was a longing desire in your heart to be a mom or dad. All of those midnight feedings that you wish would cease, they long to experience it. The countless diaper changes or cries you can’t soothe that they would give anything to have. I encourage you to read their story and have sympathy for them.

The Lord says ” For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:35-40.
